A good sales manager is, in theory, a person with a higher education, preferably specialized in marketing or economics. But, often, the ideal candidate for a sales manager position must understand his “product”, have communication skills, and know the basics of sales. This is not so much a profession as a state of mind. Higher education here is a confirmation of a certain intelligence and the ability to learn on the job.
